User.ReadWrite

Allows the app to read your profile. It also allows the app to update your profile information on your behalf.

The User.ReadWrite delegated permission allow the app to update the following profile properties for the signed-in user's work or school account:

  • aboutMe
  • birthday
  • hireDate
  • interests
  • mobilePhone
  • mySite
  • pastProjects
  • photo
  • preferredName
  • responsibilities
  • schools
  • skills

For an app to access data in Microsoft Graph, the user or administrator must grant it the permissions it needs. This article lists all the Microsoft Graph APIs and your tenant data that can be accessed by the application (vendor/developer) if you consent to the User.ReadWrite permission.
